Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using BoxContratista (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any provision, you must refrain from using the Platform.

2. Description of the service

BoxContratista is a digital platform that connects clients with contractors and specialized tradespeople in Chile. The Platform acts exclusively as an intermediary and is not a party to any service contract entered into between users.

3. Registration and account

To access contractor features you must register with truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to register.
Only one account per person or company is allowed.
BoxContratista may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

The user agrees to:

Provide truthful information about their services or needs.
Not post false, misleading, offensive, or illegal content.
Not use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal activities.
Not attempt to access other users' systems or accounts without authorization.

5. Requests and jobs

Requests posted through the Platform are visible to registered contractors matching the required specialty and region profile. BoxContratista does not guarantee that a request will receive a response, nor that contacted contractors will carry out the work.

6. Liability

BoxContratista is not responsible for:

The quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by contractors.
Disputes arising between clients and contractors.
Direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Platform.

7. Privacy and personal data

Personal data you provide will be handled in accordance with Chilean Law N° 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life. It will be used solely for the operation of the Platform and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Plans and payments

The Platform offers free and paid access plans for contractors. Payments are in Chilean pesos (CLP) and are non-refundable except as otherwise required by law. BoxContratista may change prices with 15 days' prior notice.

9. Amendments

BoxContratista reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be announced through the Platform at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect implies acceptance of them.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute arising from the use of the Platform will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the city of Santiago.
